Head of Vet School, Professor Jo Price, Leads Horses4Homes as Chair of the Trustees

Professor Jo Price, Head of Bristol University Vet School, has been elected as the new Chairperson for the horse rehoming charity, Horses4Homes. Jo, a keen horsewoman, rehomed her ex-event horse Hobo through the charity in the Spring.  The accomplished vet was so impressed with how effectively the system and support staff helped her to find a suitable new home for her horse, that she was delighted to accept the invitation to Chair and lead the charity’s board of Trustees. “Horses4Homes may be a relatively small charity in terms of income and staff, but in terms of tackling a very real welfare issue, that of rehoming horses, it punches above its weight and its growth over the past 12 months has been exponential.
