Dancer is the daughter of Cammie (age 34, also offered for rehoming). They have lived together all Dancer’s life, except for periods when she was away on loan. It would be best if they went somewhere together. On her loans she has been hacked out, shown and hunted. So far she has lived out all year round, sometimes with rugs in the winter. She has not been around other horses recently, and is used to ruling the roost with her mother, so she should be introduced to other horses in a gradual and watchful way.

  • Most suitable home and loanee/owner/sharer

Dancer should be introduced gradually to other horses as she and her mother have lived on their own for several years. She could be a companion pony and would probably enjoy being lightly hacked and potentially being shown in-hand in the Welsh and veteran classes. In 2004 she had a four-week assessment with a reputable horse trainer, whose report confirms some faults but concludes that "if given the correct environment, Dancer will prove to be a willing and fulfilling companion".
