Dereck is a fit and healthy horse who has lost an eye due to equine uveitus the operation was carried out by a specialist and he has a silicone implant so it looks as though he has his eye closed and not a sunken socket. He is bomb proof in traffic, is primarily a driving horse but is also good to hack out. He is happier in company with his limited vision but he does manage very well. He loves attention and kisses, he can be strong in just a headcollar. He is originally from Romania and wary of some men!

  • Most suitable home and loanee/owner/sharer

He is wasted at the moment and has plenty to offer someone who wants a comfortable ride. He will only go to a 5 star home, I'm loath to part with him but I cannot ride anymore and he is relatively young so could give many happy years to a new owner.
