Bought Dora as a 4mt old foal ,at a sale ,straight off her dam who was an irish draft bay cob approx 15.2 hh with no white markings . I was told her sire her sire was TB but this doesn't explain her colour ! She was unhandled except when she was micro chipped in a cattle race . She had been running on Bodmin Moor which explains her tolerant attitude to traffic .She didn't trust anyone but became friendly helped by the influence of food and of my old cob Bessie.Handled her regularly and began her breaking

  • Most suitable home and loanee/owner/sharer

in Cornwall .Finished it with help in Hants. Hacked her out with company and she was amazingly quiet but forward going . She still has trust issues and needs to get to know loaner before she is ridden . Enjoys being groomed and talked to .She has panicked on a couple of occasions .Recently thought everyone was leaving her and injured herself on gate to which she was tied needing stitches .Now recovered . She need someone who is experienced with young horses ,preferably with another steady companion.
