She is working in a lovely balanced outline now and can hack out alone as well as in company. She will happily canter steadily in open spaces and turn round to return home and do the same, never hotting up or racing off. IAlways ridden in a snaffle.

She is more spooky on her own than with other horses out hacking and needs a confident hand to help her with her nerves

  • Most suitable home and loanee/owner/sharer

I feel she would ideal for someone who may want to go to the local riding club once a month and take part in a bit of everything. Cross country would definitely be something she would take to like a flash. Full experience with either young or sensitive breeds would be required. No Novices

Please describe your horses behaviour in traffic

Very good, can spook at her own shadow but happily walk past a full articulated lorry.

Please describe your horses behaviour when hacking out alone and in company

Can spook at the smallest thing when alone, nothing nasty and no bolting, but a definite "jump". This is hardly ever the case when she is in company

Details of any individual behavioural traits which may influence the type of person best suited to take on the horse

She is very sensitive to new things, so needs calm kindness all the time. With that kind of treatment she will eventually take things in her stride and even spoken word encouragement does the trick.
