Relevant health or lameness issues

She does have lameness issues which we haven't really go to the bottom off. She should be a wonderful dressage horse but when jumped and pushed she goes lame - this happened twice last year.: in April and November. In November her coffin joints were treated and this helped but mor recently we feel that she's still not right when schooling- she is not going forward. She has always been happy to hack.

Veterinary examinations or treatment given in the past 12 months

See above. Meme has been in training livery for the last few weeks to see if she can go back to being a dressage horse. We feel she's still not right and would be suited to a hacking home. Anyone interested would be very welcome to speak to the vet for advice.

Please describe your horses behaviour in traffic

Generally good but she is green in trafic having been in a dressage yard with no hacking for much of her life. I've ridden her with a companion horse and she is mostly very good but does react to huge lorries. Most things don't bother her but she does need someone calm and experienced.

Please describe your horses behaviour when hacking out alone and in company

She has been ridden alone by an experienced rider but is happier with other horses.

Details of any individual behavioural traits which may influence the type of person best suited to take on the horse

She needs a kind but calm, experienced rider.

Details of the activities that the horse must not participate in due to previous injury

She can not be jumped. Trotting poles would be okay.

Details of any problems when being ridden

Meme is generally a polite horse. She is not forward going in the school ( part of her lameness problems) but out hacking she is nicely forward going. She does need someone to pus her on past things she's not sure about - like a huge lorry or cherry pickers and men drilling rthe road.
