Been with me 13 years only ever used to play with - hack in fields, school in paddock etc. Owing to personal circumstances have not had the time to bring on from this and she has not been ridden for 4/5 years. Looking to rehome as a companion or to a knowledgeable family that would be happy to take time and bring her back to work.

Experienced home. As a companion or a project. If she is to be ridden someone with soft hands that has time and is in no rush. She needs an experienced soft handler with patience as not been worked/ ridden for sometime. She has been stabled every night and responds well to this discipline and the safety of coming in at night.

Relevant health or lameness issues

Cut to front offside leg near canon bone in March this year. Vet treated. Scanned and xrayed confirmed no damage to bones or tendons/ ligaments. All healed and signed off June/ July with vet confirming ready to be brought back in to work. Good with farrier but never been shod. Dentist every 6-8 months is sedated by vet to do this and this must continue.

Veterinary examinations or treatment given in the past 12 months

Vet treated cut to offside fore this year - all healed and vets signed off. Oakham Veterinary Hospital dealt with injury owing to my normal vet being unavailable at the time of incident. paperwork retained for anyone to look at and they are also contactable if required. My normal vet also aware of the incident.

N/a as have never ridden on roads due to being in the fortunate position of living next to some great farmers. Again not ridden for 5years.

Only ever ridden alone in the fields and this was some time ago - needs to be brought back to basics with schooling then introducing hacking etc again.

Details of any individual behavioural traits which may influence the type of person best suited to take on the horse

She is 15.3 but rides tall. If spooks either plants all 4's or side jump/ if unridden & spooks will run/ if leading will try hide behind you or in your lap! loves a good groom and some good old fashioned attention. Is a foody. Apples good but carrots make her tad excitable so would avoid. Can be strong willed but is easily frightened so no hard handling. Ask and she will do. She talks when happy. Takes confidence from those around her.
