Mr B is a stunning looking horse, he is very loving and friendly and loves his head being rubbed so he needs a
a loving and caring home. He is good in traffic although can be a bit worried about bike riders coming up behind him quickly. He is good to shoe, clip and box. Good in the box and field.
For a racehorse he does not pull when out cantering and does a lovely slow canter which is really
comfortable. Even at a fast canter he was good to pull up when required.

Relevant health or lameness issues

When l brought Mr B, I had a 5 stage vetting, which he passed. It wasn't until 6 months into dressage and jumping, that I found he had ulcers in his stomach and back issues. The ulcer are now ok but he will need to be on Gastocare, the back was identified as Kissing Spine, hence I had the operation over a year ago which was a success and everything seemed to be ok, but he has now developed a stiff hock which has stopped me competing or jumping. Hence back and stomach are exemptions but not legs.

Veterinary examinations or treatment given in the past 12 months

As mentioned above Mr B had Kissing Spine operation and ulcer over 12 months ago which are both ok now. (No medication for back) but his hock has started being stiff and although he is fine in trot and walk, he finds it difficult in canter doing circles either lunging or being ridden. I was advised by my vet to have his hocks injected as I still have insurance on his legs but did not go down that road.
