She is a very pretty and loveable pony. Very easy to do. Can be a little nervous until she builds her confidence with you. Loves being groomed. Jabs, teeth, farrier, worming, all up-to-date. Regular worm egg counts.

    A permanent home for life with kind and knowledgeable people who will always love her and put her first. To remain with her son Storm (also advertised) and never be parted from him. Lives out all year but shelter should always be available. Lightweight rug in winter.

Had 2 abscesses over years which were easily treated and cured. Suffers from slight rainscald in winter if not rugged.

Can be a little difficult to catch when first owned due to nervousness. If she does refuse to be caught (rare) I get Storm in first then she will come in.

No grazing muzzles or restricted turnout. Grazes between a couple of selected paddocks. Very good doer and has never had laminitis due to correct management.

Welsh Mountain Section A Pony

References to ponies and cobs in Wales were made in AD 930 and it is believed that the Welsh Section A has existed since prehistoric times running wild. The Welsh Pony and Cob Society was formed in 1901 and the first Welsh Stud Book for ponies up to 12.2 hh was produced.

Height: The Welsh Section A Pony stands up to 12 hh.

Colour: Welsh Section A ponies can be any colour except Piebald and Skewbald.

Breed Characteristics:

The Welsh Pony has a small head, sloping shoulders, short back and short legs. They are hardy and strong with free and straight movement and are good jumpers.

Temperament: The Welsh Section A Pony is intelligent, kind, brave and spirited.
