Relevant health or lameness issues

Romeo presented intermittent lameness on his right front foot when worked in the school and on the lounge, when circling to the right ,it was very mild and he didn't present any lameness on straight lines and hacking out.

Veterinary examinations or treatment given in the past 12 months

After vet examination , and after nerve blocks and X-Ray investigations , Romeo was diagnosed with Navicular problems on both front feet, mild on the left and more evident on the right , the vet stated that the horse only presented lameness when doing circles and looked sound walking and trotting on straight lines. The vet suspected that the condition was hereditary as the horse is only 4 years old and has only done light work , so he recommended shoes with pads on to see if there would be any improvement .

Please describe your horses behaviour in traffic

Please describe your horses behaviour when hacking out alone and in company

Romeo has not done a huge amount of hacking , but he was not spooky with traffic, he may stop and look at things on the side of the road (bins, big signs, etc) and he only needs some leg on and he will pass it when hacking on his own, however, with another horse behind him, he tends to stop and wait for the other horse to take the lead, but if he is behind another horse , he tends just to follow it.
