Scallywag is forward going and she is great fun to ride. Scallywag was home bred and she was given her name for being cheeky as a foal. I started riding her when I was a young, novice rider and she taught me so much and really advanced my riding. Unfortunately, I do not have the time to ride her anymore and she loves being worked and being taken out to farm rides and/or competitions. She is easy to handle and travels well in a trailer or lorry.

Please describe your horses behaviour in traffic

Scallywag requires a competent rider when hacking out in traffic. I have never had an issue on the road but I would not describe her as bomb proof because she needs to be ridden forward if hacking out in heavy traffic. She is easier to hack on quieter lanes and lighter traffic.

Please describe your horses behaviour when hacking out alone and in company

She hacks out either alone or with company.

Details of any individual behavioural traits which may influence the type of person best suited to take on the horse

She can be strong when jumping and riding across country, especially if she has not been worked or taken out recently but with more schooling she comes back to you easily.

Details of the activities that the horse must not participate in due to previous injury

N/A

Details of any problems when being ridden

She is not guilty of being naughty but she requires a competent rider because she is forward going and an intermediate ride.
