A lovely boy! Very loving and quiet in the stable. Hacked around local area. Ideal 2nd pony. Would suit experienced teenager or small adult.. Jabs, teeth, farrier and worming all up-to-date. Regular worm egg counts. All good quality tack, rugs, complete lunging set, etc included. Has been easily trained to bow on command.

No but could be brought back into work (Not been ridden for approx a year due to no rider but very quick learner.. Needs to be brought back into work. Has only done a bit of jumping but very capable of jumping, cross-country and endurance given the right work.)

    A permanent home for life with good, kind, knowledgeable people who will put him first and love him always. He must never be parted from his mum Poppy who is also advertised. Lives out all year with access to shelter at all times. Lightweight rug through winter.

Relevant health or lameness issues

Contracted laminitis in front feet when previously sold 9yrs ago but never an issue when in my care and management. Had slight back problem on his return to me which was easily fixed with a couple of physio sessions and hasn't been a problem since.

None. Just routine vacinations.

Please describe your horses behaviour in traffic

Never encountered any problems when leading him in traffic. My adult niece was his rider and never reported anything negative.

Please describe your horses behaviour when hacking out alone and in company

Good in company. Occasionally napped when leaving yard alone but easily encouraged to go foward.

Details of any individual behavioural traits which may influence the type of person best suited to take on the horse

Needs a firm hand as can be playful in field. Good in stable and to handle. Good with farrier for trims. Never had him shod myself but he had a shoe on when he came back to me. Only boxed him twice and no problem. Good to catch.

Nothing known.

Explanation whether this horse is simply a good doer or whether he is prone to laminitis

No grazing muzzles or restricted grazing. Grazed between a couple of selected paddocks. A good doer and no problems in my care. Previously sold him for a couple of years when he was 2 and he contracted laminitis in front feet due to lack of correct management. No problems before or since with me.

Occasionally mini rears and naps at start of ride if on own but quickly settles.
