  • Most suitable home and loanee/owner/sharer

Willow needs a kind gentle knowledgable sharer as she can be a bit cheeky. She’s still young and learning and needs to continue with her education. She isn’t suited to a novice unless you use my trainer who can be on hand to help you continue with her learning. She is nervous on her own when out hacking, she’s not spooky or silly she’s just nervous on her own, this is something that needs to be continued to be worked on.

  • Details of the tack used to ride the horse

She wheres a loose ring snaffle lozenge bridal at all times. Saddle was brand new made to fit her.

Please describe your horses behaviour in traffic

She’s been ok in traffic but I’ve only had her in very light traffic as we live in a semi rural location with very light traffic.

Please describe your horses behaviour when hacking out alone and in company

In company she’s ok, if she gets left behind she will get a bit nervous and trot to catch up. She Likes to stay very close behind the horse she’s out hacking with. However she can be confident at times and will take lead but not for long. She’s not confident hacking out alone and needs company until she’s gained more confidence. She will constantly stop and start if she’s alone and is a little nervous, Unless you have a leader on hand, then she’s not to bad.

Details of any individual behavioural traits which may influence the type of person best suited to take on the horse

Does not have the confidence to hack alone, but as she’s young and green she needs a kind quiet confident sharer.

Details of the activities that the horse must not participate in due to previous injury

No.

Details of any problems when being ridden

Never reared but has had the odd tiny buck, this was due to her being out of work and Not been ridden for long periods of time as I have not always got the time to exercise her. Nothing dangerous or nasty think she gets a little excited.
