I have owned Amy since she was 2 years old and have been putting off homing her for a year which is not far on her because she needs more companionship. She is very dear to me and a sweet girl. She is good with my farrier but can be a bit nippy. Her favourite thing is coming in at night to have a brush down while eating her feed. She is blind in her right eye so you have to talk to her to eye to let her know you are there. She can be jumpy and a bit skittish sometimes and wears a fly mask to protect her eye
Amy suffers with equine uveitis in her right eye ,her left eye is unaffected.I have medicine for this from vets my in case of flare ups.She is on a biotin supplement for a crack in her front hooves but has no lameness. Her teeth are rasped each year when she has her vaccination.Insurance will not cover her eyes. All vaccinations up to date.
