Description

38 inch British Registered American Minuature Horse.  Silver Buckskin 5 year old gelding.

Well bred out of Aesthete line sire

Bought to break as a driving pony but will not take to driving.

Has been shown in hand as a youngster, good to travel, catch, clip and have feet done.

Lovely manners good with other horses

Problems

Ted can be nervous of new people but soon settles once he knows you. He has never offered to bite or kick and has a friendly nature. The only reason I want to rehome him is because he will not take to being put to a carriage, he was sent to a professional who decided it was not for him so he must never be driven as it upsets him too much and it is not fair to ask him.  He is quite happy around driving horses just not pulling the carriage himself.

Health Issues

Vaccinations are all up to date as us his worming  his teeth have also been recently professionally done. As with all small ponies he is a good doer and grass intake will need restricting in summer.  He has never suffered laminitis and has no blemishes or health issues. He is currently rugged with a full clip.

Ideal Home

Ted needs a home where he will be handled and loved, he would do well being shown in hand and would probably take well to in hand agility.  He will, lunge, long rein and is happy out on the road on his own or in company.  He must never be attempted to drive as he cannot take to it and it frightens him.
