Prince

Description

Section A gelding, broken to drive and working nicely. Needs more miles on the clock but doing really well. We are not able to give him the time or work he needs so looking for a sharer or a reasonably local loan home. He does however ride as well as drive. Prince has been to boot camp and has proven that he is accepting ridden work really well.

Problems

Even though prince has more driving experience, he has also proven that he takes to ridden work really well. This is from sending him to boot camp. He has seen moderate amount of traffic from driving but could do with some more experience there. Has done beach drives and cones competitions. Will drive in company. Carriage, tack and rugs available has done well showing in hand too I would like him to go to an experienced home where he can be brought on with his ridden work. He would make a great little pony for someone.

Health Issues

He has had one episode of choke and a locking stifle. This has never been repeated and no stiffness seen since. Came down with laminitis earlier this year due to rapid grass growth and not being in regular work. We spotted it quickly and dealt with it swiftly. He is back out in the field again now. His weight and work load will need to be managed.

Ideal Home

Prince is a good doer, typical Welshy, will get fat just looking at grass. When in regular work he’s fine. He has been broken to drive and with being at boot camp he is proven to be a great riding pony. I Would like him to have company but will stay in the field on his own for periods without getting distressed. He is a good field companion to other horses. Can be shared or loaned from his current home or move locally. Comes with carriage and all tack/rugs etc.
