Description

🦄 For Full Loan to move yards, within an hour of Gloucester or Reading. Currently in Hartpury.

14.1 just turned 6 year old mare. Backed last year, had winter off then hacked this year so very green in the school. She has done cotswold farm park ride and an arena hire. I have owned her since birth and still have her mum.

Good in all traffic, infront or behind and hacks alone with bit of confidence from rider (or walker). Good in open spaces, woods etc and will walk while another canters off. A very calm genuine mare with a forward long stride, often commented that she rides like a horse.

She is still young and green so ideally small adult or sensible teenager, no one looking to go racing about and competing this year.

Lives out, happy in a stable and happy being left on own in field (will call) or in a stable. Up to date with physio, teeth, saddle, vacs, farrier (barefoot currently).

Very affectionate and will happily stand all day being brushed. Great ground manners.

Problems

Will come with tack and rug etc. She will back off and lift head if unsure but gentle squeeze and she moves forward again. Will swish tail and try to back off if she finds it hard in school but again staying calm and gentle push forward works. Very responsive to seat and leg. Keen and eager pony. Has been ridden by small children but ideally looking for an older teen/adult due to her green-ness. Nothing nasty at all!

Health Issues

All vacs up to date. Had ovaries removed but no impact going forward and no other issues.

Ideal Home

Ideally looking for a small adult or teenager, gentle patient rider who wants to do lots of hacking to continue building her strength. Short and constructive schooling sessions if you want to school her, happy for her to hack, school, jump, compete, fun rides etc. But someone to continue her slow gentle education not rush her, and then go on to enjoy her for years.
