Description

Registered 2 year old Welsh Section C gelding for loan to a showing home.

Albert is currently 13.1hh, however is bum high so will grow another couple of inches to make a full up 13.2hh chunky pony.  Albert is a social character and is typically a Welshie, however i really don’t know what that means, he cheeky, inquisitive, loveable and just thrives on human company and contact.

I am wanting Albert to go to a showing home where he can be shown in hand and shown off to his best abilities.  He is a real show stopper and you will not be disappointed if you feel you can give him a caring, experience, loving home.  I will contribute £50 per month towards Alberts keep and will be in contact with the loaner regularly throughout the loan period.

Albert is in a field of his own, with horses in fields around him, but i think he will be better suited to field with other horses, but not nasty ones! He stables well, although does get a little excited when other are coming in and out of the barn, but nothing bad.  You can bring him up from the field and tie him outside his stable when no other horses are around and he will stand fine.

He is good with the farrier, however could do with a little more work.

Good with injections, vet came and gave him his annual booster and he wasn’t bothered.

Travels very in the trailer

I am getting the dentist out to him soon

He has had on rugs and a saddle, no problems.

He is use to flags being waved around him and helium balloons – natural horsemanship

The reason i am wanting to put Albert on loan is because i lost my Cleveland bay in May this year and i just want to step back from horses for a while to regenerate my passion.  The loss of my CB has deeply affected me and i just haven’t got the heart at the moment for Albert, but i don’t want to sell him.
