Scarlet
Description
Scarlet is as her name suggests a chestnut coloured cross Suffolk and Welsh horse of 14.2 hands. She recently lost her companion horse and, as I am needing to downsize and she could do with a friend it would be lovely if she could find a new home.
Her horse passport dates to November 2007 so she is around 16 years old. She is currently used to being stabled in the evening and this helps manage her grazing as she is prone to laminitis. Due to being stabled she is used to being handled. She currently still has her winter coat so I will try to post some better photos of her soon.
She is very easy to handle and do in all ways. She is a companion only horse as she has never been ridden and was used as a companion most of her life. She is easy to lead and can be rugged up easily. Scarlet is such a good girl who would make a fantastic companion for anyone who is looking for their horse their forever best friend.
Problems
You would be welcome to any equipment such as rugs, hay nets etc as I shall have no need for them.
Health Issues
Laminitis
Ideal Home
Stabled with another horse and controlled access to summer grazing. In the winter her access to grazing doesn't need to be restricted.
